Regional Manager - Care Homes - Midlands

Salary: c £75K per annum + Car allowance

Experts2care are working with a well-established Care Home group to recruit a Regional Manager to support homes across the Midlands

Our client is a care provider with nursing and residential service across the UK.

What you'll do: This is an exciting role where you'll be tasked with supporting Home Managers to sustain and continually improve standards, providing strong inspirational leadership, making sure that the Homes comply with all statutory and regulatory requirements. You'll identify and share ideas to improve quality standards and drive the financial performance of KPI's, implementing and monitoring improvement plans for enhanced quality of care and financial performance. You will be responsible for:

Ensuring appropriate compliance to standards, reporting and care delivery

Support the Home Managers with individual tasks and projects.

Induct new Home Managers and mentor them during their first 6 months.

Regularly review and assist individual homes with action plans to drive continuous quality and commercial performance.

Promote a culture of continuous development, assess and support training needs.

Assist in the recruitment of Home Managers and additional team members.

Support the Regional Director in the completion of investigations and Root Cause Analysis alongside marketing plans and competitor analysis.

Provide interim management cover for short- & long-term Home Manager absence as required, which may require registering with CQC

What you'll bring: It is essential you hold or are working towards Level 5 Leadership and management qualification and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Home managers role alongside extensive experience in the care sector. Good clinical understanding and Nursing qualification is essential. A comprehensive knowledge of current care and health and safety legislation in particular the Care Standards Act and Care Home Regulations. Well developed IT and data analysis experience. Clean, full driving licence and have access to a vehicle for use at work. Lateral thinker with an eye for detail. Leadership experience. Team working skills. Initiative and ability to work independently. Good people skills. Hands on, flexible approach. Effective communicator across various levels of the organisation. Effective report writing skills.

Our ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience of leadership and management in a regional capacity, ideally within the independent sector
